How to Create and Configure Custom Views

Custom views let you filter and display PO data for quick access. Create, edit, and set default views to match your workflow.

Accessing Custom Views

To access custom views, navigate to the Purchase Orders section. You'll find the Views panel at the top of the table, where you can select or create a new view.

Creating a Custom View

  1. Click the ➕ (plus) icon next to "Views" to create a new view.

  2. A new tab will appear labeled "New View #" with a dropdown arrow. Click the arrow to open the view settings.

  3. Adjust Your View Name and Visibility:

    • Name – Edit the view name for easy reference.

    • Checkbox: "Select this view when the page loads" – Enable this if you want this view to be your default.

    • Click Update View to save the initial setup.

  4. Apply Filters – Add filters like date, status, and supplier as you would with any view.

  5. Finalize Your View:

    • Click the dropdown arrow again.

    • Click Update View to save the filters and settings.

⚠️ Important: If you don’t click Update View after setting filters, changes won’t be saved.

Managing Your Views

  • Edit: Open a saved view, make changes, and click Update.

  • Delete: Click the dropdown arrow, then select Delete to remove a view.

  • Set as Default: Check the "Select this view when the page loads" option to make it the default view.

FAQs

Q: Can others see my custom view?
A: No. Custom views are only visible to the user who created them. Every user can create their own views based on their preferences.

Q: Do I need special permissions to create a custom view?
A: No. Anyone with buyer or supplier access can create and manage their own custom views.

Q: Why aren’t my filters being saved?
A: Be sure to click the Update button after applying filters. If the dropdown menu is closed, reopen it to ensure the settings are properly saved.

Q: Is this feature available only in the buyer portal?
A: No, this feature is available to both buyers and suppliers who have access to their respective portals.
