Troubleshooting a Missing Support Chat Widget

Use this guide if the support chat widget does not appear in the bottom-right corner of app.lvrg.ai or support.lvrg.ai. It explains how to identify browser or company security controls that may be blocking the widget.

Written by Arthur Myers

The support widget gives you access to AI assistance and Leverage Support. If the website loads normally but the widget is missing, a browser extension or company security policy may be preventing the widget’s resources from loading.

This can happen without an on-screen warning.

Before you begin

If you use a company-managed device or network, work with your IT team before changing browser extensions or security policies. Do not disable security protections without approval.

Check whether the widget is being blocked

  1. Open both Leverage and the Leverage Help Center.

  2. Check the bottom-right corner of each page for the support widget.

  3. Test Leverage from another approved network, such as a home network or mobile hotspot.

  4. If the widget appears on the other network, ask your IT team to review the security policies applied to your company network.

  5. Check whether browser extensions, including ad blockers, are preventing the widget from loading. Temporarily disable an extension only if your organization permits it, then refresh the page.

  6. Ask your IT team to review its security-tool logs for resources blocked while app.lvrg.ai or support.lvrg.ai loads. Security platforms such as ThreatLocker, web filters, proxies, or endpoint-security tools may block the widget.

  7. Have your IT team create an appropriate exception for the blocked widget resources, following your organization’s security requirements.

Confirm the fix

After the restriction is removed, refresh the page. The support widget should appear in the bottom-right corner and provide access to the AI assistant and support options.

If the widget works outside your company network but remains missing on the company network, the issue is being caused by local network or security controls rather than the Leverage service.

Troubleshooting

If the widget remains missing:

  • Capture browser network information by following Leverage Loads as Blank Page.

  • Note the affected website, browser, network test results, and any findings from your IT team.
