Leverage lets you acknowledge many purchase orders at once by uploading a single CSV file instead of responding to each PO individually. This guide walks through the full process.
Video walkthrough: Bulk uploading PO acknowledgements (2 minutes)
Before you begin
Both of the following must be true before you can upload:
You are registered for the Leverage supplier portal. If you are not, follow the Supplier User Registration Process first.
Your account is connected to the buying organization whose purchase orders you are acknowledging.
If either prerequisite is missing, complete setup before continuing.
Step 1: Open the Import Data tool
Log in to the supplier portal.
Click your name in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Select Import Data.
Step 2: Choose your upload type and settings
On the Upload tab:
Set the upload type to PO Ack.
Select the target customer whose purchase orders you are acknowledging.
Confirm that the CSV date format matches the format used in your file.
Download the example CSV template if you need a formatting reference.
Step 3: Prepare your CSV file
Review the purchase orders that need an acknowledgement or update.
Fill in the template with your response details.
Use the file to acknowledge POs, update promise dates, and add comments where needed.
Save the file in CSV format.
Step 4: Upload and import the file
Select your saved CSV file.
Upload it to the portal.
Click Import Data.
The upload status shows as Pending while the file processes, then changes to Complete or Failed.
Step 5: Confirm your results
After processing completes, go to the Sales area.
Confirm that successfully uploaded POs show as Acknowledged and begin syncing to your customer’s system of record.
Review any proposed changes. A line with a proposed change, such as a new promise date, is sent to your customer for approval before it becomes final.
Review the outcome of each file on the History tab of the Import Data page. The history shows whether the upload succeeded or returned an error.
Before you import
Confirm that:
The file is saved as a CSV.
The selected date format matches the dates in your file.
You selected the correct target customer.
The column headers match the template exactly.
Every required column contains data in every row.
You added a comment for each change to unit cost, promise date, or quantity.
