The below is a process that all users (customer and supplier) can follow to provide updated shipment information across multiple purchase orders in bulk. This will provide the customer with the tracking number(s), carrier name(s), shipped quantities, and expected ship and delivery date(s) that are linked down to the purchase order, PO line, and/or release.
Steps to Upload Shipment Information to Leverage
You must be logged in to the Leverage portal
In the bottom left of the screen, click your user icon to pull up your user menu and select IMPORT DATA
The Manual File Upload screen will populate with a drop down to select the bulk action you would like to take
There are also two tabs at the top, the second of which is labeled History. This shows all prior file uploads and their upload status (success/error)
4. Under the UPLOAD tab, select SHIPMENT TRACKING
5. The screen will adjust based on the file type selection with all the instructions and the template required to successfully upload shipment tracking information to Leverage
6. You can download a copy of the Leverage Shipment Tracking upload template directly from the import data page under Instructions (example below)
7. Please confirm prior to upload that:
the file is in CSV format
you've selected the correct date format that matches your file
all required columns for all rows have data
column header names match the template
8. Once the above are all correct, and the file is attached, click IMPORT DATA
9. You will receive an email confirming the status of the upload (success/error). If there are errors, the email will outline where they were so you can resolve and re-upload
