Overview
The Supplier Response page is your central hub for managing purchase order communications. This unified interface allows you to acknowledge new POs, provide status updates, and manage order line details all in one place.
Accessing the Supplier Response Page
Via Email
When you receive a PO notification or status request email:
Click the link provided in the email
You'll be directed to the Supplier Response page for that specific PO
The page will automatically load with the relevant PO information
Via Supplier Portal
Log into your supplier portal account
Navigate to the Purchase Orders section
Select the PO you want to respond to
Click on the "Actions" dropdown
Click "Acknowledge PO" or "Provide Update" to access the response page
Key Features and Functionality
View Controls
The response page offers flexible viewing options to help you manage your PO lines efficiently:
(1) Filter Views: Toggle between "Unacknowledged" lines and "All" lines using the dropdown menu
(2) Line Selection: Check individual boxes to select specific lines for action
(3) Bulk Selection: Use the header checkbox to select/deselect all visible lines
Available Actions
1. Acknowledge PO Lines
For new/unacknowledged PO lines:
Select the lines you want to acknowledge
Review the Date, unit cost, and quantity fields (this will default to the requested information from the buyer)
Modify the any of the fields if needed
Add notes for any lines requiring explanation
Click "Acknowledge [X] Line(s)" Or "Request changes for [X] Line(s)"
Note: the submission button is dynamic to display all of the actions you are performing:
2. Reject PO Lines
For new/unacknowledged PO lines:
Select the lines you want to Reject
Add notes for any lines requiring a rejection explanation
Click "Reject [X] Line(s)"
A notification will then be sent to the buyer for review
3. Update Line Status
For previously acknowledged lines:
Select lines requiring updates
Options:
Mark On Track: Confirms the line is progressing as expected
Request Changes: Updates the PO line to account for changes
Add notes to communicate important details
Click "Notify on-track for [X] Line(s)" or "Request changes for [X] Line(s)"
4. Bulk Modifications
Save time by updating multiple lines simultaneously:
Select all lines with similar updates needed
Click "Bulk Modify" button
Apply changes to Promise Dates or notes across selected lines
Changes will apply to all selected lines at once
Additional Information and Functionality
Adjust Column Size + Horizontal Scrolling
Given the vast amount of different monitor resolutions, we give you the ability to adjust the column width and horizontally scroll to view all of the PO data.

Adding Notes
Notes are essential for clear communication:
Click in the Note field for any line
Type your message (e.g., "These parts are on track!" or "Delay due to material shortage")
Notes are saved when you submit your response
Both you and the buyer can view note history
Partial Actions
You don't need to respond to all lines at once:
Acknowledge ready lines immediately
Return later to update remaining lines
The system tracks which lines have been actioned
Split Lines
Click on the line Split button to provide multiple dates for specific quantities.
Notifications and Confirmations
After submitting your response:
You'll see a confirmation message on screen
The buyer will be notified of your response
The PO status will update in both systems (after approval)

Can't Access the Page
Verify you're using the correct link from the email
Check your portal login credentials
Verify the PO still exists
Changes Not Saving
Ensure all required fields are completed
Check your internet connection
Try refreshing the page and re-entering information
Missing PO Lines
Switch view from "Unacknowledged" to "All" to see all lines
Verify you're viewing the correct PO number
Contact the buyer if lines appear to be missing
Best Practices
Review Thoroughly: Check all line items before acknowledging
Communicate Proactively: Use notes to explain any concerns or changes
Update Promptly: Don't wait until deadlines to communicate delays
Be Specific: Include relevant details in notes (e.g., "Week 2 production slot confirmed")
Track Changes: Keep records of your responses for reference
